1. Recurring membership
The membership price, currency, billing interval and applicable taxes are displayed in Stripe Checkout before purchase. By completing Checkout, you authorise Stripe to charge the selected payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
2. Renewal and failed payments
Membership renews automatically on the schedule shown at purchase. If a renewal payment fails or the subscription otherwise becomes inactive, Placeback may suspend extension and calculation access while the account remains available for billing management.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time using Manage billing on the Placeback account page. Unless Stripe shows otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the current paid billing period. Cancelling does not ordinarily create a pro-rata refund for the unused part of that period.
4. Refunds
Change-of-mind refunds are not ordinarily provided after a billing period has begun. This does not limit rights and remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Refunds may also be considered for duplicate charges, billing errors or a material failure to provide the paid service. Send a request to support@placeback.com.au with the account email, charge date and reason. Do not send complete card details.
5. Price changes
Existing members will receive reasonable notice of a material price or billing-interval change before it affects a future renewal. You may cancel before the changed price takes effect.
6. Payment provider
Payments and billing-portal functions are provided by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe's terms and privacy practices. Placeback stores provider identifiers and subscription status but does not receive your complete payment-card number.
